It was truly a special community event and I hope it continues to grow into an even bigger one next year. Thanks to all who made it happen.”

The event organised by Radio Cayman and Breeze FM, launched in 2016 as an extension of the Annual Grand Cayman Breeze Walk/Run every November. This year’s charity raised funds in support of the Sew ‘n So Club programme, which creates home sewn goods for the elderly.

Our corporate social responsibility programmes and volunteer efforts focus on events such as these that involve children and also sustainability initiatives through our Yello2Green Recycling programmes. Thank you to the Radio Cayman team for executing two very well organised events, enjoyed by many walkers, runners, volunteers and supporters--all while benefiting our community.”

This year’s event was made possible thanks to the generous support of the corporate community with sponsorship from Yello, the Minister for District Administration, Tourism and Transport, Hon. Moses Kirkconnell; Kirkconnell Market, Cayman National Bank, Roma United S.C., Fine Print, Royal Cayman Islands Police Service, Red Cross, CaymaActive.com, Lions Club of Cayman Brac, Barry’s Golden Jerk, Star Island, Appliance Doctors and Polar Bear Air Conditioning.
