The president of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernández, was in Mexico over the weekend to promote investment in tourism and trade for his country.
Hernandez visited facilities at Volaris airline, located in the Santa Fe area, in Mexico City, with the aim of exploring new investment opportunities and direct flights that could be generated for Honduras and continue the Cheap Tickets Law. Volaris is an ultra-low-cost Mexican airline, with services that operate in Mexico, the United States, Guatemala, Costa Rica, El Salvador and soon Colombia. Hernandez hopes to attract the airline to places like Roatan and San Pedro Sula.
Hernandez also met with authorities of the Mexican government to continue strengthening diplomatic, cooperation and trade relations.
