Following checks conducted by the RCIPS at certain business establishments, including nightclubs and bars, several of these establishments were found to be in breach of the Private Security Services Act by employing security personnel who were not licenced or whose licenses were expired.
Just after 1PM on Thursday, 4 February, police officers on mobile patrol on Godfrey Nixon Way in George Town observed a stolen vehicle exiting a gas station in the area.

The RCIPS Financial Crime Investigation Unit has commenced investigations based on complaints received of fraudulent activity reported across social media platforms where it is alleged that a person has taken payment for shutter and screen installation works never completed.
Shortly before 5:45PM on Wednesday, January 20, officers responded to a single vehicle collision at the intersection of Frank Sound Road and Bodden Town Road, where a black Ford Edge had collided with a utility pole, entered the waters near the Frank Sound Boat Ramp, and overturned.
