The Cayman Islands Coast Guard (CICG) can confirm that, at about 2:40AM on Thursday, 14 August, while on patrol, the CICG, supported by the RCIPS Air Operations Unit, intercepted a vessel, with 4 persons onboard in our territorial waters, engaging in what appeared to be illicit maritime activity.
A charging decision has been made in relation to the assault incident which took place on Rex Crighton Boulevard on 19 February, 2025, involving a 17-year-old male and a man age 72.
