Police proactive operations continue in response to the recent increase in armed robbery incidents. This week, as a result of these operations, police recovered a loaded firearm and several rounds of ammunition from two separate vehicles
The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) says it’s intensifying concerted efforts to apprehend and bring to justice persons behind a recent wave of crimes, including armed robberies.
The RCIPS is seeking the public's assistance in locating 33-year-old Marcus Steve Manderson.

Today we learned that there have been 32 armed robberies, whether with a firearm or bladed weapon, reported to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) since August.
The RCIPS responded to two reports of armed robberies over the past 24 hours. One incident of Robbery took place in the Savannah area of Bodden Town and the other took place on Eastern Avenue in George Town.
Police are investigating three robberies which occurred Thursday night, 8 December, in George Town.
At about 6:15PM on Sunday, 4 December, officers responded to a report that suspicious packages had been found at a location on South Church Street, George Town.
