1 New COVID 19 related death reported on Thursday

Public Health has released COVID-19 figures for 10 March 2022.

Positive cases reported to Public Health during this period are currently as follows:

08/03/2022 39

09/03/2022 21

There are 631 estimated active cases of COVID-19 in the Cayman Islands. Five patients are currently hospitalised for COVID related causes and of these, 4 are unvaccinated. One person has died of COVID-19 related causes since the last report.

The 7-day rolling average for 10 March is 32.14.

The Sister Islands also noted 9 new cases since the last report, bringing total cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 609.
