Cayman Burger Fest Returns for Three Weeks of Culinary Creativity and Friendly Competition

Burger lovers across the Cayman Islands are in for a treat this November as Cayman Burger Fest returns, bringing together some of the Island’s favourite restaurants for three weeks of culinary creativity, delicious flavours and friendly competition.

Running from 1st to 22nd November 2026, the popular food festival will see participating restaurants go head-to-head in a bid to claim the coveted title of Cayman’s Best Burger 2026.

Each restaurant will create its own exclusive burger for the competition, offering diners an opportunity to sample unique flavours and innovative creations while supporting local businesses.

With participating restaurants confirmed, organisers are preparing to unveil the official line-up and their signature burger creations, adding to the anticipation surrounding this year’s event.

Throughout the three-week festival, members of the public will have the opportunity to visit participating restaurants, sample the competing burgers and cast their votes online for their favourites.

The five burgers receiving the highest number of public votes will advance to the Grand Finale, scheduled for Saturday, 28th November at The Grove.

During the finale, the top five restaurants will showcase their creations in slider format, giving attendees an opportunity to sample the finalists before casting their votes to determine which restaurant will walk away with the title of Cayman’s Best Burger 2026.

The event follows the success of last year’s festival, which attracted considerable public interest, generating more than 3,500 votes during the competition and drawing approximately 350 attendees to the Grand Finale.

Organisers are hoping to build on that momentum this year, further establishing Cayman Burger Fest as a popular fixture on the Island’s culinary calendar.

Beyond the competition itself, the festival also provides an important platform for local restaurants to showcase their creativity, attract new customers and introduce the public to some of the diverse culinary offerings available across Grand Cayman.

The initiative also encourages residents and visitors to explore different dining establishments while celebrating the talent and innovation of chefs working within the local restaurant industry.

With the festival spanning three weeks, diners will have ample opportunity to experience the competing creations before the field is narrowed to the five finalists.

The Grand Finale on 28th November promises to be a celebration of food, community spirit and culinary excellence, bringing together restaurants and burger enthusiasts for the crowning of this year’s champion.
