CAYMAN ISLANDS NATIONAL ATTRACTIONS AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES COCO FEST POSTPONEMENT AND CONFIRMS CHRISTMAS AT THE CASTLE FOR THIS YEAR

The Cayman Islands National Attractions Authority (CINAA) advises the public that Coco Fest, traditionally hosted in February at Pedro St. James, will not take place this year due to logistical and resource limitations.

The decision to postpone the event was made to allow sufficient time and capacity to ensure that Coco Fest continues to meet the high standards expected by the community, partners, and stakeholders. Coco Fest is scheduled to return in 2027, with planning efforts focused on delivering an enhanced and memorable experience.

“While we understand that many look forward to Coco Fest each year, this decision allows us to step back, refine our planning, and ensure that when the festival returns, it does so at the level of quality and experience our patrons expect,” said Mr. Charles Clifford, Board Chairman of the Cayman Islands National Attractions Authority.

During this interim period, CINAA will be investing time and resources to strengthen event planning and execution, ensuring that the festival recommences as a vibrant celebration that delivers joy, excitement, and value for all involved. “Our goal is to deliver events that create lasting enjoyment and value for the community, and this additional time will help us do just that,” added CINNA Acting Director Mr. John Lawrus.

CINAA further advises that Christmas at the Castle remains on the planning schedule for this year, and additional information will be provided in due course.

CINAA thanks the public, sponsors, and stakeholders for their understanding and continued support and looks forward to welcoming everyone back for Coco Fest in 2027.
