The Cayman Islands Basketball Association (CIBA) is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the first-ever Cayman Islands Hoop Fest, held July 3–5 at the Arts & Recreation Center and John Gray Gymnasium. The three-day international tournament featured elite U17 boys’ teams from Jamaica (Campion College Crocs), the United States (Texas Tigers), and two local Cayman teams — the Cayman Bulldogs and the Cayman U17 Storm.
After six high-energy games, the Cayman U17 Storm emerged as undisputed champions with a perfect 3–0 record. The team demonstrated dominance, discipline, and composure, defeating all three opponents with impressive performances on both ends of the floor.
“This tournament was about more than wins and losses. It was about development, exposure, and national pride,” said Collin Anglin, President of CIBA. “Our Cayman boys stepped up, and the community showed incredible support.”
