Coach Dougie Rowe looks on as Cayman mount an attack
The Cayman Islands Men’s National Team makes its debut in League B of the CONCACAF Nations League later this month.
Cayman was drawn into Group A of League B alongside Guyana, Puerto Rico and Dominica.
Cayman begins its 2026-27 Nations League campaign against Dominica at 8pm Cayman time on Thursday, 24 September at Windsor Park in Roseau, Dominica. Cayman is designated as the home team for the match.
Cayman returns to Windsor Park to face Guyana on Sunday, 27 September. The competition then shifts to Puerto Rico, where Cayman face the hosts twice at Estadio Centroamericano Juan Figueroa Freyre, in Mayagüez.
Cayman is the designated home team for the first meeting with Puerto Rico at on Thursday, Oct. 1, before the sides meet again on Sunday, 4 October. The matches represent Cayman’s first test in League B after they earned promotion from League C during the previous CONCACAF Nations League cycle.
“This is another important step for this group,” head coach Dougie Rowe said. “We worked hard to earn promotion and now we know exactly where and when we’ll begin this next challenge. League B will demand more from us, but these are the matches we want to be playing. We’ll prepare properly and go into every game believing we can compete.”
The September-October window will feature 74 Group Stage matches across the three leagues, serving as the first of three FIFA Match Windows over which the 2026/27 CONCACAF Nations League will be played.
