Cayman’s senior women’s national football team will travel to the Dominican Republic from July 10–20 for a training tour featuring four friendly matches as the squad prepares for international competition this fall.

The tour is part of the team’s build-up to the Concacaf W Qualifiers, which will take place across October, November 2025 and February, April 2026. These qualifying rounds will determine the region’s entrants to the 2026 Concacaf W Championship, scheduled for November 2026.

The Dominican Republic tour will see the Cayman Islands face both national and club-level competition:

Sunday, July 13 – Cayman Islands vs. Dominican Republic National Team

Tuesday, July 15 – Cayman Islands vs. Dominican Republic National Team

Thursday, July 17 – Cayman Islands vs. Club Real Deportivo

Saturday, July 19 – Cayman Islands vs. Club Real Deportivo

“This tour is a critical part of our preparation for the Concacaf W Qualifiers,” said Martha Godet, CIFA Women’s Technical Director. “It gives our players international exposure and helps us build a cohesive, competitive squad. We’re taking steps now to be ready for the demands of this important competition cycle.”

In addition to match play, the tour includes daily training, recovery sessions, and strategic development aimed at strengthening the team’s performance heading into the qualifiers.
