After two months of competition, Premier League Darts crowns Leonard Puri as Class A Champion and Shondell Hyles as Class B Champion in thrilling finals held September 9.

The Premier League Darts season has officially concluded after nearly two months of competition featuring 16 contenders. Players battled in a single round-robin format before being separated into two divisions: the top eight into Class A and the remaining eight into Class B.

Class A Division

Alfredo Sampiano entered the knockout stage as the No. 1 seed, followed closely by Leonard Puri, Eugene Deguzman, and Randy Cruz. Quarterfinal action saw Sampiano and Puri advance comfortably, while Hank Ebanks stunned Deguzman with a dominant 5–0 win. Frankie Amazona also progressed, defeating Cruz.

In the semifinals, Sampiano overcame Amazona 7–1, while Puri fought back from an early deficit to defeat Ebanks 7–5. Ebanks later claimed third place with a narrow 3–2 victory over Amazona, earning a medal, trophy, and $100 prize.

The final, held September 9, delivered on its promise of drama. Puri showcased resilience and precision, defeating top-seed Sampiano 9–5 to secure the Class A Championship.

Class B Division

The Class B playoffs produced several upsets, with Noel Padilla eliminating top seed Chris Torrie 5–3 in the quarterfinals. Shondell Hyles and JayR Fiel also advanced, setting up a three-player legs-won format alongside Padilla in the semifinals. Padilla secured third place, while Hyles and Fiel advanced to the championship match.

In the final, Hyles edged Fiel 7–6 in a gripping contest to capture the Class B Championship.

Community Impact

The season received strong praise from players and spectators alike. Co-Founder Randy Cruz expressed his commitment to the sport’s continued growth:
