HSA statement regarding criminal charge of former practitioner
The Health Services Authority (HSA) is aware of the 22 August 2025 criminal charge regarding a practitioner who previously worked at the Authority.
While we cannot comment on the matter, we wish to reassure the public that the HSA has and will continue to maintain strict requirements for all practitioners, including a comprehensive credentialing process, which includes independent verification of qualifications, licensing with the Cayman Islands Medical and Dental Council, and review by HSA’s senior medical staff before practicing at our facilities.
Our focus remains on delivering safe, high-quality healthcare to the people of the Cayman Islands.
The Cayman Islands Government has introduced new revenue measures. Do you support this decision
