Shortly after 3:00PM yesterday, 13 June, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a liquor store in Heritage Square on West Bay Road. It was reported that a masked man had entered the store, brandished a machete and demanded cash. He damaged a cash register and then made off with a quantity of cash. No one was injured during the incident.
Officers attended the location and conducted enquiries, and, shortly afterwards, arrested a man age 28, residing in West Bay, on suspicion of robbery. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
