Raven McTaggart is Crowned Miss Global International 2025 as Cayman hosts prestigious pageant for second consecutive year. 

Cayman is celebrating big on the world stage as for the first time ever, the Cayman Islands has brought home an international crown.   Miss Global International Cayman Islands, Raven McTaggart, was crowned Miss Global International 2025 during the glittering finals held on October 4th, 2025, Grand Cayman.  The pageant, hosted in the Cayman Islands for the second consecutive year, showcased beauty, culture, and empowerment in an atmosphere of elegance and pride at the beautiful Azzure Ballroom at the Hotel Indigo.

It was a night filled with grace and glamour where reginal queens from across the globe came together to compete for the top title of Miss Global International 2025.  Nabbing the First Runner Up title went to Miss Global International Mexico, Fernanda Suarez, followed by, Kaila Enriquez, Miss Global International Canada who claimed the Second Runner-Up slot.  Following right behind in a very tight race was Miss Global International Barbados, Tia Browne as Third Runner-Up, with Miss Global International USA, Natasha Lee finishing as the Fourth Runner-Up.

Passing on the crown and visiting the beautiful Cayman Islands was none other than Miss Global International 2024, Arian Richmond of Guyana who reminisced about how it felt for her this time last year when she and 18 other delegates were on their journey to the crown.  “It was nerve wracking and magical all at the same time and I was so relieved when it was finally over”, Richmond had to say.  She warmly crowned the new queen amid cheers and applause from a very supportive audience that came out to cheer on the Cayman Islands as well as all of the overseas queens.

Hosted by the incomparable Lloyd Barker and Danielle Watler, the night was filled with excitement and talent as winners of Vocals for Locals entertained the crowd between segments.  Sponsors and guests were treated to VIP tables that included treats and a swag bag that included a gift certificate to Cayman Medical, MGICI’s Health and Wellness partner.  Head of production this year was Caitlin Tyson who provided the audience with an experience like none other and the audience was here for it.  “I was pleased with the audience support and really appreciated how much energy was in the room” said Country Host, Mrs. Catherine Tyson, National Director of Miss Global International Cayman Islands and Philippines. “All of the queen’s truly embody what the Miss Global International brand stands for — empowerment, diversity, and grace and they each brought something special to the stage.”  “We are a small humble island but we are a powerhouse and we have proven that for the second time in a row that Cayman is a force to be reckoned with on the international pageant circuit, with not only a destination to die for, but a pageant that rivals any pageant in the Caribbean region to date” Tyson-Sewell added. 

Special Category awards were presented on the evening to:

Miss Congeniality: Miss Global International United Kingdom Cheniel Henderson

Best National Costume: Miss Global International Mexico, Fernanda Suarez

Best in Interview: Miss Global International Barbados, Tia Browne

Best in Gown: Miss Global International Cayman, Raven McTaggart

People’s Choice Award: Miss Global International Jamaica USA, Jodiann Pagan

Best Talent: Miss Global International Cayman, Raven McTaggart

Miss Photogenic: Miss Global International Cayman, Raven McTaggart

What makes Miss Global International unique is that each delegate comes already with a crown from her country and hence goes back with her crown to continue her reign for the rest of the year.  Miss Global International Pageant is in its 21st year having been established in 2013, by Mr Lachman Ramchandani of Montego Bay, Jamaica.  The event once again placed the Cayman Islands in the international spotlight, blending the spirit of global unity with the warmth and hospitality for which the islands are known.
