Motor Vehicle Collision on Linford Pierson Highway

Just before 9:45AM on Thursday morning, 9 January, police and other emergency services were dispatched by to a motor vehicle collision that took place on the Linford Pierson Highway in George Town.

The incident occurred when two vehicles travelling along Linford Pierson met in a head on collision due to one of the vehicles travelling in the wrong direction.

Three persons were reported injuries as a result of this incident and were transported to the hospital for treatment. All injured parties are believed to have non-life-threatening injuries at this time.

The roadway was closed for a short period while officers conducted preliminary investigations.

The matter is under investigation.
