Hon. André Ebanks has been officially sworn in as Premier and Hon. Gary Rutty as Deputy Premier, during a formal swearing-in ceremony at the House of Parliament — marking the official start of the new government following the general elections.

Alongside them, Members of Cabinet were sworn in:

Governor Jane Owen reaffirmed her commitment to working in partnership with the government to uphold good governance, security, and integrity.

What’s next? The new Cabinet will now set its legislative agenda, make ministerial assignments, and begin the work of delivering on priorities for the Cayman Islands and its people.
