Passport and Corporate Services Office Urges Readiness
The Passport and Corporate Services Office is urging the public to ensure all travel documents are valid and accessible in preparation for Tropical Storm Melissa.
To prepare, the public should:
Check their passport expiry date to ensure validity,
Check that their passport is valid according to the country’s entry requirements. For example, when travelling to the United States, the British Overseas Territories passport must be valid for at least six months after the date of intended departure from United States,
Collect passports and waivers from the office,
Obtain legalisation of documents and special marriage licences from the office
Make copies of passports and key documents and store them in waterproof containers in a place where they can be easily accessed during emergencies.
For more information on passport or corporate services, members of the public may contact the Passport and Corporate Services Office at 345-649-7678 or 345-943-7678, or via email, passport&corporate@gov.ky.
