Police Investigate Fatal Collision in Cayman Brac

Shortly before 10:00PM on Sunday night, 21 September, officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision, involving a Hyundai I-10 which had left the roadway and overturned, on West End East Road, Cayman Brac.

Police, Fire, and EMS attended the location and assisted in removing the driver from the wreckage. He was subsequently pronounced deceased on the scene.

A section of West End East Road was closed following the incident and has since been reopened. The matter is currently under investigation and accident reconstructionist from Grand Cayman have travelled to Cayman Brac to assist with the investigation.

The deceased is a 34-year-old Honduran national, residing in Cayman Brac. The RCIPS expresses condolences to the family and friends of the decease
