Police Respond to Two-Vehicle Collision in Cayman Brac

Shortly before 11:30AM on Monday, 27 July, police and other emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a Honda Stream on Creek Road in Cayman Brac.

It is reported that the Honda Stream had a collision with a motorcycle travelling west along Creek Road in the vicinity of Ivory Lane. The motorcycle sustained extensive damage, while the Honda Stream sustained minor damage to its right front side.

Both drivers involved in the collision were attended to by emergency services and transported to Faith Hospital for treatment.

The motorcycle rider, who is believed to have sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, was subsequently airlifted to Grand Cayman for further medical treatment. He is reported to be in stable condition.

The driver of the Honda Stream was breath tested, which returned a negative result, and the driver was warned for intended prosecution for the offence of careless driving.

The collision remains under investigation by the RCIPS.
