Police Seek Witnesses for Robbery at Grocery Store in West Bay

Just before 3:30 AM on Sunday, 20 July, police were dispatched  to a grocery store located in the Mount Pleasant Road area of West Bay, where it was reported that a robbery had taken place. It was reported that a man dressed in all black entered the store, pointed a handgun at employees of the store and demanded cash. The employees complied with the demands of the perpetrator, who then left the location having received a quantity of cash and several tobacco items from the store. No shots were fired, nor was anyone injured during this incident.

The incident is being investigated by the police, and detectives are encouraging anyone with information to call the West Bay Police Station at 949-3999.
