Rubis Fuel for Life 2025 Winners

After 11 thrilling weeks and more than 80,000 entries across Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac, Rubis Cayman Islands proudly concluded its Fuel for Life Promotion at Walkers Road with a celebration of winners.

Rubis Managing Director Andres Barthel and Rubis Finance Manager Joseph Solomon presented the prizes to this year’s lucky winners in front of an excited crowd. In a historic outcome, all three top prizes were claimed by women.

1st Prize$90,000 in fuel over 25 years OR $20,000 cash: Sophia Whittaker

2nd Prize5 years of fuel or $5,000: Consuella Barnes

3rd Prize1 year of fuel or $1,000 cash: Nelida Forbes

“This promotion is one of our favorite ways to give back to the community,” said Andres Barthel, Managing Director of Rubis Cayman Islands. “We are thrilled to see the excitement it brings year after year and are especially proud that this year’s winners reflect the amazing women of Cayman. At Rubis, we remain committed to delivering not just fuel, but meaningful opportunities to reward and celebrate our customers.”

Grand Prize winner Sophia Whittaker, who chose the $20,000 cash option, shared her joy:

 “I still can’t believe it! When they called my name, I was in total shock. Winning this prize is such a blessing for me and my family, and I’m truly grateful to Rubis for this life-changing opportunity.”

The Fuel for Life Promotion has become one of Rubis’ signature customer initiatives, rewarding loyal customers while bringing the community together.
