Week four of play in the 2025 Inter-Primary Cricket Competition continued this past Friday, May 23 as schools battled for cricket supremacy.

The boys from Sir John A. Cumber Primary defeated Island Primary B 83 runs to 54 runs to secure top spot in Zone B along with Cayman Prep A. In their game, Cayman Prep A outlasted Cayman International School 88 runs to 66 runs. At this stage of the season and with three wins out of three, both schools seem to be odds on favourites to finish the season one and two in Zone B and advance to the semi-finals, although defending champions St. Ignatius Catholic may have a few things to say about that.

In the girl’s contest, Sir John A. Cumber Primary got past Island Primary B 41 runs to 39 runs.

Other results from the fourth day of competition included:

Zone A Girls:

Joanna Clarke Primary downed Red Bay Primary 57 runs to 35 runs, Cayman Prep B got past Prospect Primary 66 runs to 65 runs, Theoline L. McCoy Primary defeated Island Primary A 55 runs to 54 runs and in the battle of the Eastern District, Edna Moyle Primary beat East End Primary.

Zone B Girls:

Footsteps School defeated Marie Martin Primary 59 runs to 58 runs and Cayman International School beat Cayman Prep A 59 runs to 58 runs.

Zone A Boys:

Zone B Boys:

Marie Martin Primary got the better of Footsteps School 108 runs to 74 runs.

Round five of the 2025 season continues this Friday, May 30 with a full schedule of games including:
