Water Authority Cautions Public of Suspicious Email Sent from Authority Email
The Water Authority is aware of unauthorised emails being sent from a Water Authority email address. The email attempts to have recipients open a suspicious attachment titled “Water Port Authority Agreement (Revised).pdf”. This is not a legitimate email from the Authority.
If a customer or member of the public has received any suspicious email from a Water Authority email address, please:
• Do not click on any links contained in the email,
• Do not open or download any attachments,
• Delete the email immediately from your inbox, and the deleted items folder
Our IT Department is investigating the matter and taking appropriate measures to ensure the continued security of our systems and customer information.
