Missing Woman located

Missing Women and Infant Located, 31 December

Karen Vanessa Osegura and her daughter, who were reported missing yesterday, Thursday, 30 December, have been located and both appear to be in good health.

Karen Vanessa Osegura-Bodden, age 39, a Caymanian of Honduran origin, last known to reside at 15 Greenwood Drive, George Town, was reported missing yesterday, 30 December, by a relative and has not returned home or been located since.

With effect from Friday, 31 December 2021 (New Year's Eve) liquor licence holders in the category of retail bars are permitted to open until 2 a.m. on Friday nights only, with liquor sales ceasing at 1.50 a.m.

361 Positive COVID 19 Cases: 44 confirmed Omicron cases reported on Wednesday

Chief Medical Officer (Interim) Dr. Autilia Newton reported 361 new cases of COVID-19, 78 in travellers and 283 from the community on Wednesday, 29 December. Public Health reported 1504 PCR tests were conducted since the last report on Friday, 24 December.
