Tide Gauge Stations installed to measure tide levels

The Ministry of District Administration and Lands advises that four tide-gauge stations have been installed at Gun Bay Public Dock in East End, Royal Watler Cruise Terminal in George Town, Customs Dock in Cayman Brac and at Bloody Bay Dock in Little Cayman.

60 Positive COVID 19 cases reported on Thursday

Chief Medical Officer (Interim) Dr. Autilia Newton reported 60 new cases of COVID-19, eight in travellers and 52 from the community, on Thursday, 23 December. Public Health reported 544 PCR tests were conducted on the previous day.

On Tuesday, 21 December, Customs and Border Control Officers at Owen Roberts International Airport alerted Royal Cayman Islands Police Service officers to a man travelling from Cuba, who had been refused entry after supplying a suspected false travel certificate.
