Police can confirm that just before 9:20PM on Saturday 10 July, armed officers were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre, to the West Bay District, where reports were received of shots being fired. The officers are currently on scene and making checks in the West Bay area

Shortly after 11:00PM last night, 1 July, officers responded to a report of shots fired on Martin Drive in George Town. It was reported that two men had been shot, one of whom was unresponsive.

Just after 5AM on Thursday, 17 June, police carried out a search at a residence in the West Bay District. During the search officers found a quantity of ganja and ganja plants. No arrests were made in relation to the drugs, however inquiries are ongoing.
