2 Men Arrested Following Drug Interdiction
On Monday, 22 March, at about 2:20PM, the Air Operations Unit was conducting security patrols when they came across two vessels appearing to meet up approximately 30 miles off the coast of Grand Cayman.

Two separate instances of alleged breaches to the isolation protocols have been reported to the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) and are currently under investigation. Both instances involved travellers quarantining at residence (QAR)
Just after 7:20 AM on Saturday 20 March, police had cause to make checks in the South Church Street area of George Town. During these area checks, officers found a number of black garbage bags containing a significant quantity of ganja.
Just after 2:35 AM on Saturday morning, 20 March, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a single-vehicle collision that took place along Seaview Road, East End, in the vicinity of the blowholes.
One occupant of the vehicle was recovered by officers from the Cayman Islands Fire Service and was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital by ambulance where he was pronounced dead by the attending doctor.
Just after 6 AM on Saturday morning, 6 March, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre where it was reported that a serious collision occurred along West Bay Road in the vicinity of the West Bay Fire Station.
Just before 4:15 PM on Saturday 6 March, police and other emergency services were dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle collision involving a dump truck and a pickup truck.
Just after 9 AM on Wednesday 3 March, officers from the Air Operations Unit were carrying out border protection patrols off the coast when they came across a vessel, approaching Grand Cayman.
Just after 6PM on Saturday 27 February, police were dispatched to a report of a stabbing incident that took place at a residence in the North Sound Estate area of Bodden Town.
Police have now received and registered six charges against a second man in relation to a drug interdiction incident that took place on 21 May 2020 in the area of Spotts Beach on Shamrock Road.
