On Friday, 5 June, officers had cause to execute a search warrant at an address at Fairlawn Drive in George Town in search of wanted man Simon Newball.
Just before 4:30PM on Wednesday, 3 June, police and other emergency services were dispatched to an address on South Sound Road, where it was reported that a woman was found unresponsive in a pool at the location.
Following an incident involving the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) which occurred on the 4th of April 2020, videos surfaced on social media that raised questions about the conduct of certain police officers.
A 43-year-old-man of George Town has been charged with Burglary, Theft, Damage to Property and Breach of Curfew following his arrest on Friday 22 May. The man was arrested in relation to a burglary incident that took place at a bar located on Mary Street, George Town on Sunday 17 May.
A 27-year-old-man of West Bay was charged with Robbery, Assault ABH and Common Assault on Monday, 18 May, after being arrested in relation to an incident that took place on Thursday 14 May on Whitman Seymour Drive in George Town.
Just after 5AM on Thursday, 21 May, police officers were on patrol when they came upon a canoe in the Spotts Beach area of Shamrock Road. A search of the location was conducted and several packages were located and seized by police.
Police have recovered a number of electrical tools during a search earlier this month that are believed to be stolen properties.
Just before 8PM on Friday 8 May, police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of burglary in progress at a church hall located on Bodden Town Road.
