Collision Involving Cyclist
Shortly before 11:30AM on Friday, 8th May, officers responded to a report of a traffic collision at the intersection of Hirst Road and the East West Arterial involving a Jeep and a bicycle.

Officers from the RCIPS Traffic and Roads Policing Unit have noticed a significant increase in the number of vehicles that are not only exceeding the speed limits but also driving in a reckless manner on the roadways.
At about 7:40PM yesterday, 6 May, the RCIPS received a report that shots had been fired in the vicinity of Foremast Close, West Bay. Officers responded and made checks in the area but nothing to substantiate the report was discovered.
A 27-year-old man of West Bay was formally charged by the police yesterday in relation to 2 separate incidents.
Just before 7PM on Tuesday 5 May, police responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles, which took place along Bodden Town Road in the vicinity of Cherry Tree Drive in Bodden Town.
Shortly after 8:00AM on Wednesday 6 May, the RCIPS was alerted by Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control officers on patrol on South Side East Road in Cayman Brac, that they had come upon a parcel of suspected ganja, weighing about 2lbs, which had washed up on the shoreline.
Just after 11:30AM on Tuesday 28 April, officers from the Department of Environment were on patrol in the Collier’s Beach area of East End when they came across a torn duffle bag containing taped packages.
Just after 3:30PM on Wednesday, 29 April, officers from the Community Policing Department, along with Special Constables, were on patrol in the central George Town area when officers approached a man sitting outside a residence.

Brianna Ebanks, age 12, of West Bay absconded on Saturday 25 April, and has not returned home or been located since.
