Bermuda will get more flights from the UK next year
Bermuda’s tourism industry is getting a boost with British Airways expanding its flight network next year there for the first time in 30 years.
The airline is set to start operating daily flights from London Heathrow to the Caribbean hotspot, with the first service due to take off on the 28 March 2021.
The new route will be operated by a Boeing 777-200, which will include the airline's new Business Class offering. Tickets are already on sale on the British Airways website.
It's not the only service which the airline offers to Bermuda - there is already an existing service from London Gatwick. Return flights start at around US$550.
There's heaps to see and do in Bermuda too - after all, there's a reason it features on most Bermuda is renowned for its pink, palm-fringed sandy beaches, while the crystalline waters are a hit with those who fancy a dip, or want to go snorkelling amidst the colourful marine life. There are plenty of walking trails and nature reserves to explore too, for those who fancy a bit of adventure.
Bermuda is also one of the Caribbean islands that has recently created a new visa specifically for remote workers, allowing Brits to do their job while living on the sun-soaked island.
