Dominica has started a series of carnival events that will include its Children’s Carnival in Grand Bay on 19 February. The event is part of the Real Mas series which started just before Christmas. The children’s event will be hosted by South City Live under the theme ‘A Sizzling Explosion’. It will feature fun costumes, music, food, and various other fun activities.
The Carnival of Dominica features numerous activities and competitions, and stage shows such as calypso, Soca Monarch, Miss Teen Dominica and Carnival Princess Show. The fun events for the children include Kiddies Carnival and Grand Bay Children’s Carnival.
There will also be the Dominica Pinknic event. The theme is Better with Friends. The organisers ask people to experience the pink and classy side of Dominica with Pinknic by Bes Lyfe Experience. Dominica hosts its full adults’ carnival from 14 January till 22 February.
