The Bridal Expo was another success

Jamaica’s premier destination wedding and romance conference returned over the weekend as wedding professionals, travel advisors, and brides and grooms attend the annual Bridal Expo.

Hosted at the Montego Bay Convention Centre, the event brought together hundreds of the island’s top event venues, resorts and wedding vendors for a series of educational presentations and romance-themed activities designed to engage both trade and consumer audiences.

Known as the premier trade event of the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA), JAPEX plays a pivotal role as the foremost business generator for Jamaica’s bustling tourism sector.

This event provided three days of pre-scheduled appointments, offering an invaluable platform for all those in the industry. These stakeholders got an opportunity to liaise with Jamaica’s top-tier tourism suppliers and conduct their business negotiations.

There were live presentations by wedding and travel industry professionals from Jamaica and North America. Speakers provided attendees with valuable strategies and resources for planning and executing a successful Jamaican destination wedding experience.

Canadian travel advisors were invited to tune into the sessions during the live broadcast at www.jamaicabridalexpo.com or view the recorded presentations at their leisure following the event.

“Jamaica is a destination synonymous with romance. Weddings are a key economic driver for our tourism sector with thousands of visitors coming to island each year for weddings and honeymoons,” said Donovan White, director of tourism at Jamaica Tourist Board. “The annual Bridal Expo provided event planners, travel advisors and betrothed couples with a fantastic opportunity to connect with some of the island’s top wedding vendors.”
