UPDATE: Fatal Collision in Bodden Town

Police have now confirmed the identity of the deceased in the fatal collision that took place yesterday morning, 8 August on Bodden Town Road, involving a white Subaru Sunbar. He is Gonzalo McLaughlin, age 39, of East End, Grand Cayman.

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr John Lee, reports 191 COVID-19 tests have been carried since it the last report on Thursday and all were negative.

Another 256 COVID-19 test results were released on Tuesday and all were negative. This brings the number of tests carried out to date to 30,657.

Two men arrested and Charged for Drug Importation

Just about 10PM on Saturday 1 August, police had cause to stop a vehicle that was travelling with a trailered vessel attached. The vessel appeared to have recently been retrieved from a launching ramp on North Church Street in George Town.
