2 Positive COVID 19 cases reported Friday
The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 519 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Thursday, 15 April 2021. Two were positive.
The individual is a traveller who tested positive following routine screening. They will remain in isolation until considered recovered.
The number of people in isolation, either at a government facility or in their homes, as required by the Medical Officer of Health, is 669.
The total number of COVID-19 vaccines administered to date is 61,181.
So far, 33,808 (52% of the estimated population of 65,000) have received at least one dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, with 42% having completed the two-dose course.
