Cayman ranked as a top destination in the 2017 Cruisers’ Choice Destination Awards
The Port Authority of the Cayman Islands (PACI) is thrilled to announce that Grand Cayman has been ranked number 2 among the top-rated Western Caribbean & Riviera Maya destinations in the 2017 Cruiser’s Choice Destination Awards.
The rankings are based on ratings given in published member reviews from 1st July, 2016 through 30th June, 2017 on the consumer review site cruisecritic.com, the largest online cruise and destination review site according to Hitwise. Cruise Critic is also the leading cruise reviews and information site hosting the largest cruise community in the world. More than five million people, from first-time cruisers to avid cruise fans, visit Cruise Critic each month to research and plan their cruises, connect with other cruisers and share their experiences in the various cruise destinations.
Mr. Clement Reid, Port Director of PACI stated, “Rankings are based on real cruise visitors’ feedback and experiences of the Port and the Island as a whole. We are ecstatic to receive this accolade. To be ranked as a top destination is a reflection of the quality of service that our Island provides to visitors and we are honoured to be ranked as one of the top destinations in our region once again.”
