Chamber to Host Roundtable for Micro & Small Businesses

Micro, and small business owners and other entrepreneurs are being invited to attend a roundtable and social at the Chamber of Commerce Training Centre in Governors Square, on Wednesday, September 26, 2019, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

 

The purpose of the meeting is to bring together micro and small business owners, individual entrepreneurs and persons desiring to start a business, to talk about how the Chamber can help them, through training and other interventions. This initiative is a partnership between the Chamber and the Ministry of Commerce, Planning and Infrastructure.

 

The Chamber and the Ministry have been working together since 2015 to provide training for micro, and small enterprises, to help them improve their businesses. This initiative has also included guidance and training for individual entrepreneurs or sole traders and persons wanting to start a business. So far, almost 1,200 micro and small business owners and other entrepreneurs have benefitted from 46 Workshops, held between 2015 and 2018.
