Camoy Murray from the Cayman Islands won the best Christmas present ever- a 45,000-dollar shiny new 2022 Hilux pickup truck. It was part of Lucozade’s Carribbean-wide “Get the Drive,” promotion between August and November, which covered 13 countries, including Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. All you had to do was drink a Lucozade, look for the special number under the cap, and punch it into their website. Mr. Murray believes in winning, so he did it twice – and won!

“I feel excited about it – God did it,” he said. “When they called me I never even believed it, but today I believe it,” said Camoy. “I drank the Lucozade drink, and there is a code under the cap and that’s what I entered onto the website. It’s a great experience and I advise each and every one to drink Lucozade because now I’m a lucky winner. I bought my drink at McRussI. I had confidence in myself. I am a motivational speaker so therefore I motivate the world, so trust me, this is a blessing. I am always promoting Lucozade,”

Camoy had a tip for some real tropical Christmas cheer: “Lucozade tropical punch tastes good with Appleton Estate rum. It’s a good blend for drinking. I recommend anyone to try that drink. That is one of the most amazing blend drinks ever.” He said.

Gina Kettner, Lucozade Sales Manager at Cayman Distributors said, “It’s a Lucozade under-the-cap promotion. When you look under the cap on the lucozade bottle there is a code and you punch in that code on the website, and that goes into a draw. This was 13 islands in the Caribbean and the Cayman Islands won from over millions of entries in the entire Caribbean,” she said.

Gina handed the keys to the brand new truck over at Vampt Motors on Walkers Road.

“This is the second year we are having it. The first year’s ‘Under the Cap’ promotion was a prize of 30,000 US dollars, and that was won by somebody in Jamaica.  We were lucky to get it here – we won the grand prize in the Caribbean,” she said.

“We have another promotion in place for next year. They will reveal what that is in May ….Every year we want to do something big and different.
