“It has been a challenging year for sure. Since being back at school in Colorado, training and competing have looked very different: temperature checks every morning and masks being worn unless I was in the water; social distancing and bubbles to stay healthy.
There was more work to stay healthy mentally and physically. School also looked different with being online and we had to keep our grades up too.
I feel like I really rose to the challenge this year and pushed through it. I loved being at home for longer than I expected last year and I'm not gonna lie, I can't wait to be home.”
