Hurricane Melissa Relief Efforts

The Cayman Islands Government continues to closely monitor Hurricane Melissa as it approaches Jamaica. Current forecasts indicate widespread rainfall that could cause catastrophic flooding and dangerous landslides across affected areas. Our thoughts and prayers are with our Caribbean neighbours as they prepare for this major storm. 

The Cayman Islands Government stands ready to support the regional relief and recovery efforts that may be required. Hazard Management Cayman Islands is closely coordinating with regional partners and relief organisations to ensure an effective framework for assistance, should it be requested.
