Island Taste has always made various bread products and decided to expand the line in 2017. The company then completed a full refurbishment of our Bakery facility due to the huge demand for sandwich breads from our catering department. Since then we have increased our production to supply the local market as well. These breads are not your average sandwich breads that go soggy in no time. We have formulated a recipe that allows your sandwich to stay fresh and firm for a longer period. The wheat sandwich bread is smooth in texture as we use pure ground wheat and no hull. It is one of the best tasting healthy option breads on island.
Our breads are baked daily for a guaranteed freshness and distributed to all major Supermarkets, gas stations and small grocers’ island wide. You can’t miss the brightly colored packaging that captures the colors of Cayman.

Hard Dough Bread is a Jamaican Bread that is most similar to Pain de Mie of France or the Pullman Loaf of America, the Hard Dough is a slightly sweeter version. It is found in Jamaica, Cayman, Cuba, Britain and a few other countries. The Hard Dough Bread is more resistant to moisture than Sandwich Bread which makes it the bread of choice to compliment Jerk Pork or Jerk Chicken from your favorite Jerk spot.
