St Lucia Jazz attracts visitors from all over the world

The Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival returns this year from May 5-14, featuring headline performances from Sting with Shaggy, as well as many more mega acts like reggae queen Shenseea.

The fest will again attract visitors from around the world as the line-up includes international, local, and Caribbean music. With genres galore, the sounds will include Afro beats, jazz, gospel, soca, reggae, zouk, pop, and an array of cultural beats and pulsing rhythms.

The iconic and historic Pigeon Island National Park will provide the staggering waterside backdrop for the open-air performances.

“The 2023 Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival promises to be the best yet,” said Tourism Minister Dr Ernest Hilaire, “with music, the performing arts, fine arts, creole cuisine and the effervescence of Saint Lucia’s creative industries.”

The island comes alive with visual art, literary art, theatre, fashion, an icon series, craft and souvenir markets, as well as a variety of events at Derek Walcott Square, William Peter Boulevard, Constitution Park, Pointe Seraphine and Serenity Park.

Other acts set to perform include Kes the Band, Buju Banton, Bunji Garlin and many more.
