Appleby announced promotions in two of its practice groups. Andrew Jackson was promoted from Senior Associate to Counsel in the Dispute Resolution practice group and Adam Johnson was promoted from Counsel to Partner (subject to Immigration approval) in the Corporate practice group.

Andrew Jackson practices principally in the fields of commercial litigation and company law, with particular expertise in fair value proceedings arising out of corporate mergers, as well as voidable preference claims, claims for breach of fiduciary duty and the enforcement of foreign judgments at common law. Andrew also has experience in litigating claims concerning breach of contract, unjust enrichment and real property, and proceedings for judicial review.

“I am proud to have reached this milestone with Appleby, who have raised me professionally since the very beginning of my legal career, and I am indeed excited to move into this next stage.” Andrew said.

Adam Johnson has a wealth of experience across multiple disciplines, including all aspects of commercial and residential real estate acquisition, finance, development, leasing and disposal; corporate banking; whole loan portfolio transactions; project finance; mergers & acquisitions; outsourcing; and other major commercial transactions.

“It is a privilege to be a Partner at a firm with such incredibly talented and motivated individuals around me. I very much look forward to contributing towards the continued success of the firm in my new role,” Adam said.

“On behalf of myself and the rest of the team I would like to congratulate Andrew and Adam on their promotions, which are very well deserved and a testament to their hard work and dedication to the firm,” said Norman Klein, Managing Partner at Appleby. “I wish them the best in their new positions and look forward to seeing their further progress as they continue to provide first class service to our clients.”
