Police investigate Armed Robbery in George Town

Shortly after 10:30PM yesterday, 16 June, officers responded to a report of a serious assault at an address on Patrick's Avenue, George Town.
Just after 5AM on Thursday, 17 June, police carried out a search at a residence in the West Bay District. During the search officers found a quantity of ganja and ganja plants. No arrests were made in relation to the drugs, however inquiries are ongoing.

Just after 12PM today 10 June, the RCIPS Firearm Response Unit, had cause to stop a vehicle that was seen travelling along Sound Way in George Town. The vehicle attempted to evade being stopped and as a result, a less-lethal tactic with use of special munitions was deployed to disable the vehicle.
Shortly after 2:00AM on Saturday, 5 June, officers responded to a report of a firearm incident in the parking lot of Trafalgar Place, on West Bay Road.
Shortly after 1:30AM on Monday, 7 June, officers were despatched to a report of a firearms incident outside a bar on Seymour Drive, George Town.
The RCIPS' targeted road safety and enforcement campaign, Operation Quaker, continued this weekend, with increased police presence and enforcement on Cayman's roads.
Just after 6AM on Thursday, , 9 June, police responded to Her Majesty's Cayman Islands Prison Service (HMCIPS), Northward, following a report made by the Director of Prisons concerning a member of staff.
