15 Positive COVID 19 results reported Wednesday

There have been 1,231 COVID-19 PCR tests conducted and processed since this was last reported on Tuesday, 28 September with 15 positive results.

The positives include four travellers currently in quarantine, five community cases related to the Prospect Primary School, and six community cases related to George Town Primary School.

As of this morning, there have been106,655 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in total in the Cayman Islands. Of these, 55,129 (78% of 71,106) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, 51,481 (72%) have completed the two-dose course and 45 have had a third or booster dose.

Bposters are being administered to the extremely vulnerable, inclusive of persons with organ transplants, on dialysis or chemotherapy, and people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA).
