40 COVID - 19 cases are daily average

Public Health has released COVID-19 figures for 28 February 2022.

Positive cases reported to Public Health during this period are currently as follows:

27/02/2022 17

There are 957 estimated active cases of COVID-19 in the Cayman Islands. Ten patients are currently hospitalised for COVID related causes and of these, 1 is partially vaccinated and 7 are unvaccinated.

The 7-day rolling average for 28 February 2022 is 40.

The Sister Islands also noted 16 new cases since the last report, bringing total cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 553.
