8 positive COVID cases reported on Monday

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 503 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Friday, 27 November 2020. Eight were positive.

The individuals are travellers who returned positive test results following routine screening. Two are symptomatic and the remaining six are asymptomatic. They will remain in isolation until considered recovered.

The number of people in isolation, either at a government facility or in their homes as required by the Medical Officer of Health, is 887. This figure excludes individuals isolating at one facility as this number was not available at time of publication.
