Anti-Corruption Commission Statement: Charges

On 14 April 2020 Investigators from the Anti-Corruption Commission charged:

Ms. Evita Dixon a public officer aged 38 years from the Prospect area (first arrested on 3 October 2019), with one count of Breach of Trust contrary to s.13 of the Anti-Corruption Law (2019 Revision) in her capacity as a member of support staff with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The matter was internally identified at an early stage, and was immediately referred to the Commission for investigation. Charging advice was provided by an independent legal advisor, at the request of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Ms Dixon has been bailed to appear in Summary Court on 26th May 2020.

As the matter is now before the Courts, the Commission will not provide any further comment on the matter.
