Armed Robbery in George Town on Friday

The Police are investigating a report of an armed robbery which took place at an address on Kennedy Drive in George Town on Friday, 24 April.

It was reported that minutes after 2:00PM, a masked man believed to be brandishing a handgun, approached the victim while outside the residence and demanded money.

He stole a wallet before making off from the location in the direction of Greenwood Drive.

No physical injuries were reported, and the wallet has since been recovered and handed over to the Police.

This incident is being investigated by the Police.

Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity along Kennedy Drive or Greenwood Drive, between 2:00PM and 3:00PM on 24 April, are asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 949-4222.
