CARIFTA debutants impress as Beck secures four medals

The gymnastics team performed brilliantly

The Cayman Islands National Gymnastics team wrapped up a stellar debut showing at the CARIFTA Championships over the weekend, returning home from Trinidad with an impressive nine medals across multiple levels.

In Level 1, Skye Mungall soared to silver on vault while Scarlett Jasper placed fourth all around.

Level 2 saw Sienna Chaloner claim two bronze medals on bars and floor with Kate Murphy finishing ninth all around. In Level 3, Lily McCarty struck gold on vault and added a bronze on floor.

Level 6 standout Kayla Beck dominated with three gold medals in the all-around, floor and beam plus a silver on bars while teammate Siena Clemens-Orr placed thirteenth all around.
